ATA released schedule for the events before the Australian Open start


According to the official announcement, four ATP and WTA competitions will be held in Australia. They will start in a new season, after the New Year.

The opening in season 22 will be the ATP Cup Team Tournament, which is planned to be held in Sydney from January 1 to 9. From January 3 to 9, the main attention to tennis will be in Adelaide and Melbourne. The ATP 250 will take place in both cities, WTA 250 competition in Melbourne, while WTA 500 will be played in Adelaide during this first week.

From January 10 to 15, two destinations will be Sydney and Adelaide. The WTA 250 will relocate to Adelaide, while WTA 500 will be held in Sydney. The ATP 250, like in the first week, will be played in both cities.

Of course, the most attention will go to Melbourne, as the Australian Open (the first Grand Slam event of the new season) will start on 17th January.
