Final tournament WTA- Kontaveit defeated Krejcikova, Pliskova defeated Muguruza


On the night of November 11, the WTA Final Tournament started in Guadalajara. In the first match of group 2, Anett Kontaveit defeated Barbora Krejcikova in two sets. The Estonian delivered eight aces and converted two of the three breaks.

In the second match of the group, Karolina Plishkova won a strong-willed victory over Garbine Muguruza. Both tennis players filed eight aces, and Karolina won the decisive set in a tie-break.

On Friday, two matches will be in group 1: Maria Sakkari will play with Iga Swiatek, Aryna Sobolenko – with Paula Badosa.
