Germany overcame the UK in the quarterfinals of the Davis Cup


The German tennis squad became the second semifinalist at the recent Davis Cup tournament. The success in the quarterfinals was gained in the tight battle. The Germans were better in the pair contest (2:0) thanks to Kevin Kravitz and Tim Putz, who beat Joe Salisbury and Neal Skupski.

The singles ended in a draw. After Peter Gojowczyk lost to Dan Evans (0:2), Jan-Lennard Struff could overcome Cameron Norrie (2:1).
