Indian Wells – Badosa won the tournament

23-year-old Spanish tennis player Paula Badosa Hibert won the Indian Wells tournament.

In the decisive match of the tournament, the Spaniard defeated Victoria Azarenka from Belarus in three sets. Indian Wells. Final: Victoria Azarenka (Belarus) – Paula Badosa Hibert – 6: 7 (5: 7), 6: 2, 6: 7 (2: 7).

This victory was the second for the Spaniard at the WTA tournaments. Earlier in the season, Bados won the tournament in Belgrade.
