Nadal won the Melbourne ATP title and took his 89th career trophy


Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal won the ATP tournament in Melbourne, Australia. The sixth racket of the world defeated American Maxime Cressy in two sets in the competition’s final. Nadal took the first set in a tie-break and won the second game with a score of 6:3.

This is the 89th trophy in the career of the seasoned Spaniard, who has won ATP tournaments for the 19th consecutive season.

During the competition in Melbourne, Rafael also passed Ricardas Berankis from Lithuania (6:2, 7:5), Tallon Griekspoor from the Netherlands (technical victory) and Emil Ruusuvuori from Finland (6:4, 7:5).
