Pliskova will miss the Australian Open

The Czech fourth racket of the world, Karolina Pliskova, won’t be present at the opening Grand Slam event in 2022. The reason is simple – hand injury.

The problems with health forced Karolina also to delete the name from the list of the tournament in Adelaide, which will be played in the same country before the Australian Open.

Karolina’s best result at this event was in 2019. Then, she reached the semifinals. This year, Pliskova was able to reach the third round, but Karolina Muchova was stronger than her compatriot. To remind, the Australian Open-2022 will start on 17th January and will last until 30th. Want to know more about tennis and don’t miss the important news?
