Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz won the ATP 500 clay tournament in Barcelona. In the title match, the 18-year-old tennis player beat his compatriot Pablo Carreno Busta.
The title game wasn’t too long as Alcaraz gave only five games in two sets to his rival. Thus, the first set finished 6:3 in favour of Carlos, while Busta took only two games in the second – 6:2.
Note that this was Alcaraz’s fourth ATP title in his career. On Monday, he took the ninth racket in the world and came close to the eighth place, losing only 200 points to Andrey Rublev, who earlier won ATP 250 in Belgrade.
Earlier this season, Carlos won events in Rio and Miami. The first one was ranked as ATP 500, while the US tournament was under the Masters’ flags and brought 1000 points for the Spaniard.
